LEADER: Unbounded God,
ALL: All of creation is your temple and your dwelling place. Fill us with wonder and joy at your presence in all that you have made. Help us to treat the natural world and all that is in it with respect and care, that all might dwell here together in peace. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

RESPONDING

1. Build on the Rock, the church shall stand
even when steeples are falling;
Christ builds his church in every land;
bells still are chiming and calling,
calling the young and old to rest,
calling the souls of those distressed,
longing for life everlasting.
2. Not in a temple made with hands
God the Almighty is dwelling;
high in the heavens his temple stands,
all earthly temples excelling.
Yet he who dwells in heaven above
chooses to live with us in love,
making our bodies his temple.
3. We are God’s house of living stones,
built for his own habitation;

BACKPACK BUDDIES: October’s food items are Chef Boyardee Cups and Cheese Cracker Sandwiches or any item listed on the shopping list. If you find it difficult to shop, you may send a monetary donation to the church or place your donation in the offering plate on any Sunday. Please mark your gift, “Backpack Buddies”.

Please use the form to submit names of all members, friends or relatives of Arnolia who have died since last year’s All Saints’ Sunday. Place form in the offering plate or mail to the office by today, Sunday, October 26. Forms can be found on the table in the Bell Tower. -
Poinsettias for Christmas
Arnolia will be ordering poinsettias to decorate the sanctuary for Christmas Eve. We will be ordering red, white, and marble poinsettias this year from White House Nursery in Upperco. The cost will be $11.00 for each 6-inch pot with a green pot cover. Orders must be into the church office by Sunday, November 16. Poinsettia Order Form - DISTRICT 8 TOWN HALL: On Nov. 10 beginning at 6 PM, we’ll be hosting a town hall for District 8. Each week, Rev. Yost will be walking different parts of our surrounding neighborhoods to hand out small invitations to the town hall. If you’re interested in joining them, let Rev. Yost know to coordinate a time to go together. Additional volunteers will be needed for hospitality and community listening during the town hall.
