The People of Arnolia
God believes in us and asks a lot of us. The congregation of Arnolia UMC is blessed with talent, commitment, experience, and wisdom. The church staff are blessed to work alongside them in the ministry God has called Arnolia to do.
Reverend DV Yost (They/Them or He/Him)
Pastor
Reverend Yost is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community at Arnolia as we follow Jesus, make disciples, and serve others. They completed their Master of Divinity at St. Mary’s Seminary & Univerity’s Ecumenical Institute and Lancaster Theological Seminary. Before arriving at Arnolia, they served their community at Mount Vernon Place UMC, Baltimore, and The Baltimore City College High. At City, they taught Mathematics and advised the Gender and Sexuality Alliance and Board Game Clubs. Passionate about ensuring that all know they are beloved children of God, Reverend Yost has a heart for worship, spiritual practices, youth, and those historically neglected by the Church. They believe in the transformative power of God’s liberating love and are committed to guiding others on their spiritual journeys.
Susan Joseph faithfully serves as the Custodian and can be found in the church building throughout the week.
As Arnolia’s Administrative Assistant, Sue Jackson is responsible for coordinating every aspect of church business as well as welcoming visitors to our campus and facilities.
